FREE MUSIC: 2 New Modern Editions of Classical Period works for SATB Choir

March 22, 2016 by Martin Banner Leave a Comment

If you’re interested in exposing your singers to music of the Classical Period, these two new modern performing editions are a great place to start. Accessible for medium level high school, church, community and college/university choirs, both of these editions can be performed with just keyboard or chamber orchestra accompaniment.

MAGNIFICAT by Johann Caspar Aiblinger for SATB choir and keyboard with optional strings, published by Alliance Music Publications (AMP 1009)

NE TIMEAS MARIA by Johann Michael Haydn for SATB choir and keyboard with optional trumpets, strings and continuo, published by Carl Fischer Music (CM9463)

For a free copy of each of the above, please respond to this offer directly to me on Choralnet or send an email to me at mbanner113 (at) aol (dot) com. Please include in your message to me your name, the choir(s) you conduct, and your snail mail address (not your email address).
