Easter is fast approaching! And as you put the finishing touches on your Easter music, I’d love to share a piece I recently arranged.
It is an SATB + piano choral arrangement of Charity Gayle’s hugely popular song, Thank You, Jesus, for the Blood. It works beautifully for Easter, Holy Week, or Communion services. My goal was to keep the energy of the original while giving church choirs rich but accessible harmonies and a piano part that’s supportive and easy to rehearse.
The message of the song—grace, redemption, and the power of the cross—makes it a strong fit for the Easter season, and the arrangement comes together quickly for choirs of all sizes.
