Choral singers at St. Luke Catholic Church

December 4, 2017 by kevinfaulgmail-com Leave a Comment

St. Luke Catholic Church is looking for singers to grow a program in traditional Catholic music. The program includes use of Gregorian chants, motets and high church hymnody. The Pastor is extremely supportive of a traditional program and he himself sings. St. Luke sings Gregorian chant, Latin ordinaries and polyphony. We are the only parish in the Diocese of Palm Beach that has has a program of historic Catholic liturgy. We have a school that teaches reading the chant neumes and solfege. The school has a girls and boys choir in the English tradition.Staff singers supplement the adult choir and staff singers are also invited to apply. All voice types needed but men are especially invited.
