Choral Auditions for Choirs of Church of the Atonement (All Voice Parts)
https://www.atonementchicago.org/music
The Episcopal Church of the Atonement (www.atonementchicago.org) is an Anglo-Catholic parish with a strong musical tradition, including weekly choral mass and bi-monthly evensong. Repertoire is varied and previous seasons can be viewed in full here: https://www.atonementchicago.org/music-schedule
We seek to audition singers for all voice parts (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) into our choral program – including the volunteer St. Cecilia Choir for the 2019-2020 season.
The season begins October 1 and ends on Corpus Christi (June 14, 2020).
The St. Cecilia Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings and sings bi-monthly Evensong. Volunteer positions and sublist singers have flexibility. Excellent skill in sight reading and the desire to sing in a chamber ensemble are of utmost importance. Choral experience is desirable.
Occasional calls for Sundays and feasts may present themselves, but will be scheduled with appropriate notification.

The church is located in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North side of Chicago and is easily accessible by train, bus, and car. Please contact the Director of Music, Charlie Sega, with questions or to arrange an audition:
