Caritas Vocal Ensemble – Twin Cities, MN seeks tenor

Artistic Director Paolo Debuque will conduct auditions for singers interested in joining the ensemble beginning January 25, 2026. All voice types are welcome to audition, with particular interest in tenor voices.

AUDITION PROCESS
Auditions are approx. 20m and take place at First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
The audition consists of:
1. A prepared solo in a style of your choice (the style in which you feel most confident and expressive). No accompanist provided.
2. Vocal exercises to determine range, flexibility, accuracy, and memory.
3. Two prepared musical excerpts – prepare your own part. First priority is excellent rhythm and intonation, followed by expression/style

– I’ll Be Seeing You, arr. Darmon Meader, mm. 43-54. Marked score
Singer responsibilities
Caritas rehearses Sundays from 4-6pm at First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights. Singers are expected to be present at all rehearsals, and are asked to pay dues ($100/season; financial aid available).
Spring concerts are May 9, 16, and 17.
