Brooklyn (Park Slope) EVENSONG Choir

All Saints Episcopal Church in Park Slope Brooklyn is looking for volunteer singers comfortable singing one-on-a-part and with good sight reading skills in order to sing as part of a once-a-month Evensong Choir. The repertoire is all unaccompanied and usually 4 to 6 part late Renaissance music (think William Byrd).

The Evensong services are one Sunday a month at 5pm. There is one rehearsal for each performance, so good sight reading skills are a must. Looking for all voice parts (but especially alto and tenor).

We’re looking to create a laid back yet passionate group of volunteer singers enthusiastic about reading and singing great a capella sacred choral music and excited to participate in music-driven and meditative services.

This season’s upcoming Evensong services will be:
October 27;
December 1; and
Continuing in 2020 Winter and Spring
