BHVivaVox Call for Scores
BHVivaVox is the newest professional choir of New York City. We are a small ensemble dedicated to giving life to choral compositions created by living composers.
For our first concert in 2023 we are programming 9 choral pieces. We are seeking original choral works from composers that would like to have their pieces performed and live recorded.
Guidelines
Two to five minutes’ duration
Mixed choir (SATB) limited divisi is acceptable
Unaccompanied, or piano accompaniment
Text must be in English
Rights to text must be cleared, and evidence of copyright holder’s permission must be shown.
Maximum of 2 submissions per composer
Sound files or links to recordings are encouraged
No age or nationality restrictions
No submission fees
Works that have been premiered are also eligible

a pdf score for each piece
a sound file or link to a recording for each piece
a short bio
Deadline and Results
Due Date: December 31st, 2022, 11:59PM EST
Composers of chosen works will be notified by January 29th, 2023 via email.
