Become a member of Masterworks Chorale!

The continuing growth of Masterworks Chorale brings opportunities to sing the world’s greatest choral music with a finely tuned choir and orchestra. We invite singers in all vocal ranges to audition.

Rehearsals are Monday nights at 7:00 at Transfiguration Episcopal Church, San Mateo in the sanctuary. All auditions are also held at the church. To schedule an audition, please fill out the audition request form, which can be found at masterworks.org/sing.html. You will receive an audition schedule and a packet of information to complete.

What to Prepare

For the audition we ask you to:

Sing a prepared song or aria (any style), or your voice part’s line in a portion of a standard, classical chorale work. Bring two copies of your music, one for yourself and one for the accompanist.

Perform sight-singing of short musical excerpts.

Repeat back short melodies played on the piano.
