The Contemporary Chorale of Richardson is holding voice placement auditions for its fall season. Auditions are from 9 to noon on July 6 and August 10. We have openings for all voice parts, but we are really in need of more basses, tenors, and baritones. Artistic Director, Melanie Moore, will walk you through some vocal exercises to determine your voice part and musical ability. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7 to 9:30 pm and begin August 15th. We rehearse at Big Springs Baptist Church in Garland, close to Jupiter and Campbell.

The Contemporary Chorale is the oldest, continually operating community choir in North Texas. Since its founding in 1956, the group has evolved into a choir for men and women of all ages and backgrounds who take singing seriously, and love to have fun doing it! We have a concert in December that focuses on holiday and Christmas music, and a show in the May that is an eclectic mix of Broadway, pop tunes, classics, and more.
