Auditions for Commonwealth Chorale

Commonwealth Chorale is in the midst of a very exciting 2019-2020 season celebrating 40 years under the direction of David Carrier. Our winter and spring concerts feature pieces by Bruckner, Bernstein, Chilcott, Thompson, Walker, Paulus and Forrest. We are an 85-person, member-run volunteer chorus looking for experienced choral singers in all parts.

We are looking for new members who have voices that blend, good vocal technique, musicianship (including sight-reading ability), devotion to the art of ensemble singing and the desire to be part of a community of talented and adventurous amateur musicians. We rehearse on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at the Eliot Church, 474 Centre Street, Newton.
