Auditions for Commonwealth Chorale

Commonwealth Chorale is an 85-person, member-run volunteer chorus under the direction of David Carrier. We are looking for experienced choral singers in all voice parts. Want to see if we are a good fit for you? We are holding auditions on January 2, 2018. We are looking for new members who have voices that blend, good vocal technique, musicianship (including sight-reading ability), devotion to the art of ensemble singing and the desire to be part of a community of talented and adventurous amateur musicians. We rehearse on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at the Eliot Church, 474 Centre Street, Newton. The 2017-18 season features works by Arnesen, Brahms, Paulus, Elder and students at the New England Conservatory of Music. Join us for a wonderful season!
