A brief mid-season window for auditions exists on March 13th and 20th for the final concert set in Ember’s 2017-19 season, When the War is Over:
May 19 and 20: Safe for Democracy,
Focusing on music & poetry of the Harlem Renaissance
Two specific interests: one second tenor; one low bass. Other voice parts considered.

Ember’s full season is produced in both NYC and NJ.
Most rehearsals in PATH-accessible Jersey City; some in the Village.
Prospective members should possess strong reading and ensemble skills, be comfortable with flexible/interactive performance styles, and have excellent intonation.
Ember draws membership from an unusually wide geographical radius. Rehearsal venues are centralized and transit-accessible: Jersey City (4 blocks from JSQ PATH; free parking lot) and Greenwich Village (near 9th Street PATH and 14th Street on the 1-2-3 line). Performance venues are in Greenwich Village and Montclair, NJ.
