Alto/Counter-tenor staff singer

Christ’s Church (Episcopal), Rye, has an opening for a professional Alto/Counter-Tenor to join the thriving choir of choristers and adults in September. The regular schedule includes calls on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings and there are multiple extra events and choral services throughout the year. Pay is $85 per call. The ideal candidate will be an excellent sight-reader, capable of blending easily with children and adults, and who enjoys singing traditional Anglican repertoire (plenty of Byrd, Stanford, etc) with a dedicated and gregarious group. There may also be further work available for candidates interested in working with the choristers (20 children, grades 2-8).
