Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown, New Jersey seeks an alto section leader. Moorestown is easily accessible from Philadelphia and Princeton.
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30. Two Sunday morning services, one with the parish choir and the second with the quartet serving as the choir. $165 per week. Additional paid services throughout the season, including Evensongs, Lessons & Carols, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week and spring concert with orchestra. Season runs from September through early June.
The choirs sing varied, high-quality repertoire of all periods. Section leaders need excellent sight-reading skills, should be comfortable in a well-blended choir and ideally will have a good feel for early music.
