ZêzereArts Festival and Choral Summer School 2024 – Applications Open!

January 22, 2024 by ZezereArts Leave a Comment

The ZêzereArts Festival, based in and around the historic city of Tomar in central Portugal, attracts individual singers from around the world who are to combine a high-quality choral experience with a cultural summer holiday. There are three levels of participation, each with a rewarding programme of carefully-chosen repertoire and specialist coaching and support throughout:
Festival Choir and Chorus full programme (13-21 July 2024) – two programmes of stunning music, conducted by Pedro Correia and Brian MacKay, and three concert performances in some of the most beautiful and atmospheric venues in Portugal.
Festival Chorus compact programme (16-21 July 2024) – ideal for those preferring a shorter course in which to enjoy the festival atmosphere, participants will rehearse and perform as part of the Festival Chorus for two concerts in stunning heritage venues.
Chamber Choir and Festival Chorus Enhanced programme (13-21 July 2024) – a professional-level programme including very special repertoire honouring composer, conductor and musicologist Ivan Moody, who would have celebrated his 60th birthday this year. Places are limited and all chamber choir participants will be required to pass an audition.
