World Singing Day – Oct. 24, 2014 – Awarding grants

World Singing Day is an annual, global event with the mission of uniting the world through singing.

 

This year’s goal is to have over 1 million people from all 196 countries sing on World Singing Day, October 24, 2014.

 

We’ll be awarding 4 grants, from $500 to $5,000, to choirs, schools and nonprofits who come up with the most creative and impactful ways of uniting the world through singing, culminating on World Singing Day.

 

We encourage groups to sing whatever they would like in the spirit of our common humanity, but we encourage groups to at least sing this year’s WSD song called “We Sing.” It’s a simple song that people can sing in any language, and in any style.
