Women in Choral Higher Education

October 11, 2022 by Alice Cavanaugh Leave a Comment

Women in Choral Higher Ed (WiCHEd) is a caucus in support of current or aspiring women choral conductors in higher education. Drawing on our shared experiences, WiCHEd has monthly conversations that invite insight into challenging situations women face in higher education. Please join us this Sunday for a forum entitled:

Job Jenga: How to Get There and Knowing When It’s Time to Go
Sunday, Oct. 16th 7:30-8:30 p.m. EST on Zoom

This forum, led by Meg Stohlman (Gonzaga University), Mariana Farah (University of Wisconsin-Madison), and members of WiCHEd (Women in Choral Higher Education), will give helpful advice for both acquiring a collegiate conducting position and knowing when it is time to leave one. This will be an open discussion format, where participants are welcome to share their experiences, concerns, and strategies. The session will not be recorded to protect the privacy of the participants.
To register (no fee), send an email to by Oct. 15th.
