Melodia is accepting applications for the 2022 Women Choral Composer’s Competition. The winning composer will be awarded a commission to create a new work for the choir which will be performed in New York during Melodia’s 20th Season, in spring 2023. The new work will be the Melodia’s 10th commission.
All eligible applications will be reviewed by a panel of composers/musicians. The winning composer will receive a $3,000 commission fee to compose a 7-10-minute work for the choir and up to four instruments (including piano).
