The William Baker Festival Singers announce the release of a new CD “The Sacred Fire.” Recorded in concert during May 2019 the album features 14 diverse selections from composers Hildegard von Bingen, Charles Wood, F. Melius Christiansen, Alexander Gretchaninov, Eriks Esenvalds and Etter Sondre Bratland, in addition to the early American hymns, spirituals and gospels that are signature of the 50 voice chorale based in Kansas City.
