The William Baker Festival Singers, a Kansas City-based 50-voice semi-professional chorale, is auditioning for the 2023-2024 26th season. Highlights include tour concerts in Chicago, performances of a cappella classics and spirituals from Renaissance to Contemporary, and masterworks performances to include Bernstein: Chichester Pslams; Vaughan-Williams: Dona Nobis Pacem: Britten: Festival Te Deum; Dreyfoos: Songs of the Holocaust; and Ed Frazier Davis: At Our Last Awakening. The Festival Singers has performed in 14 states, including the Washington National Cathedral, and has produced over two dozen recordings, several lauded in The American Record Guide. 2021 National 2nd-Place Winners of the American Prize for Choral Performance.
