Dear Directors and Friends:
I was asked to write a piece as a surprise for a wonderful couple who was celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. I used the wonderful text of Elizabeth Barrett Browning “How do I Love Thee, Let me count the Ways”. My church director was able to get a small group of singers together to rehearse and we sang the piece for them at their celebration lunch. I was able to direct the singers. If you have a couple celebrating a significant anniversary, this would be the great way to honor them with this song. SATB with piano. Lots of unison for easy learning.
