We Are One choir donates to school music programs

ST. LOUIS — The We Are One Community Choir has made its
mission raising money to help vocal music programs at area schools.

On Jan. 10, Cheyenne Huffman, a freshman and member of two
choirs at Fox High School, as well as a charter member of the We
Are One choir, presented Fox choral director Sherry Deak with a
check for $350. Members of We Are One presented Seckman High School
choral director Mark Cotter with an equal check on Jan. 12.

Last year, the choir also presented checks to Fox and Seckman
high schools totaling more than $500. In December, $240 was donated
to St. John’s Lutheran School.
