This select ensemble for the 21st century was founded in the fall of 2000 by its current musical director, Dr. Jesse Parker. It specializes in a cappella repertoire of the 15th, 16th, 20th, and 21st centuries, focusing on rarely performed and little known works. The group has performed and toured in France, Italy, Ireland, and Costa Rica.

Voices 21 performs in churches and other venues in the suburban Maryland area, mainly between Silver Spring and Columbia, and rehearses on Monday evenings in Hyattsville.
