A retired Utah music and fine arts teacher has been named a 2010 inductee into the National High School Hall of Fame.
George Welch, of Murray, is the seventh Utahn to be inducted into the hall since 1983. Welch spent more than 35 years working as a teacher and administrator for schools in Utah and Wyoming.
