As many of you know, our friend (and constant ChoralNet contributor!) David Janower (SUNY-Albany, Albany Pro Musica) suffered a stroke while recovering from cancer surgery last March. David’s family set up a site at Caring Bridge for updates on his condition. Here is the latest from David’s wife Paige:
Dear Friends,
I know that it has been a terribly long time since our last update but in a strange way, there was not much to report. The days have passed without any major changes but rather a slow decline. David continues to weaken and has reached the point in his illness that he is sleeping most of the time. While no one knows for sure, Hospice has told us David will not be with us much longer.
It is comforting to all of us to know how many of you continue to keep us in your thoughts, wishes and prayers. Keep sending the Maestro your most peaceful thoughts.
