Dear Choralnet Members
Please find here a recent performance by the excellent UH Moores Concert Chorale under the direction of Dr. Betsy Weber at the University of Houston Moores Opera House. “Les Quatrains Valaisans” are a set of poems by Rainer Maria Rilke in which he expresses his poetic admiration of the Valais Region of Switzerland while he was living there. Out of a set of 5 poems set to music, two are performed here:
