It’s not deja vu – you read this last week. This one corrects a bad link for Little Lamb.
Introducing When the Stars of Morning Sang and Little Lamb, Who Made Thee, two award-winning carols for your Christmas 2023 season! I hope you will choose them for your choir.
When the Stars of Morning Sang was the winner of the New England Carol Competition in 2018. It is an a capella work (SATB) of about 4 minutes duration. Stars of Morning is a gentle, intimate manger hymn that features rich, luscious harmonies. Recording credit: ChoralART
Little Lamb, Who Made Thee was the winner of VocalEssence’s Welcome Christmas Carol Contest in 2019. Little Lamb is scored for SATB voices with a solo violin. It was described as “a beautiful combination of richly textured vocal harmonies and … equally arresting violin lines.” Like Stars, it is intimate and lovely, but it has a more earthly, folk-like quality. Both carols are available as either a set of printed octavos or a digital performance license with emailed PDFs. Please contact for more information.
