When Tunes To Teens started sending donated a cappella CDs to junior high and high school students in 2003, we had to charge $1 per student. After several years, we made it free for the first 100 students in the chorus, but $1 for each student beyond that.
Thanks to generous donors (including the recent SAVE benefit concert in NJ put on by Soulfege) and thanks to proceeds from the A Cappella Mega-Sale, Tunes To Teens can now send a cappella CDs to students free of charge to choruses of all sizes.
And we’re also making it more accessible to choruses outside the US, lowering the fee from $2 per student to $1 per student. (The cost of mailing outside the US is much higher.)
We’re thrilled to be able to make this big step, and we thank you all for helping us do it. Please let directors in your area know about TTT, so they can bring a cappella music to their choruses.
Directors interested in participating can email Chris Tess at . For more information, visit http://www.casa.org/TTT

Tunes To Teens (TTT) is a nonprofit program of the Contemporary A Cappella Society designed to put a cappella CDs into the hands of developing singers. Chorus by chorus, TTT sends junior high and high school students a cappella CDs free of charge. The program’s goals are to spark interest in a cappella music in up-and-coming singers, and to serve as a touchstone for directors to teach their students the basics of music theory. Since 2003, over 10,000 students across the United States and around the world have received CDs from TTT.
