For his admirers and friends in the choral community, the passing of Stephen Paulus (Sunday, October 19) will be both a sadness and a blessing – that his struggles are at an end. Stephen enjoyed a rich and long relationship with various musical institutions in St. Louis, from the Opera Theater of St. Louis, to the Bach Society of St. Louis, and most recently the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus. Stephen was a wonderful composer and a delightful & kind man; we will miss him, but are consoled by the many pieces he has left to us.
