I wanted to give the students pieces that grappled with issues of today and presented a vision of a better world. When I read Kim’s draft of what became The World Needs All of Us, a poem about inclusion, I was almost in tears. Having now read some of the student testimonials, I know I was not alone. It was incredibly powerful to engage with the students in meaningful discussion and hear their reactions to the work.
