The Twelve Months-SAB choir and piano

January 23, 2012 by Manena Contreras Leave a Comment

The Twelve Months music by Manena Contreras.
Original work for SAB choir and piano.
This fun and charming piece is suitable for High School and College level.  The music is based on the poem The Twelve Months in which the writer, the English Satirist George Ellis, gives a nickname to each month creating a colorful and amusing work.
The composer provides a different harmonic language with a strong connection with a tonal center, making the piece challenging and accessible at the same time.
Please, enjoy the piece!

Score available upon request.

Lyrics:

The Twelve Months

SNOWY, Flowy, Blowy,

Showery, Flowery, Bowery,

Hoppy, Croppy, Droppy,

Breezy, Sneezy, Freezy.

                                     George Ellis
