SYDNEY, AUS — Joe Pigino loves opera.
He's been known to break out in song in the car park of his local RSL. But he never dreamed he'd be performing it in concert at the Sydney Opera House.
The 74-year-old is an avid member of the Blacktown Seniors Choir – known as the Symphony Voices – one of 12 choirs plucked from Sydney's western reaches, coached and transformed into a 400-strong united chorus.
"I'm so excited," he says. "I have been waiting for this. It's going to be a memory for the rest of my life."
