“The Mad Wind” for Chorus, Band and Orchestra by Ian Good

April 1, 2023 by imgood808 Leave a Comment

The Mad Wind is a short, accessible concert work for combined chorus, band, and orchestra. Bring all of your ensembles together for this exciting concert closer! The Mad Wind contains fun metrical changes and lets the musicians make wind noises with their instruments and mouths among other extended techniques. The piece was written on commission for the CCMEA All Cape & Islands Music Festival in January of 2020.
