Sweet Was the Song: A Yuletide Celebration

Angelica Women’s Chamber Choir, directed by Marie Caruso, presents a December concert, “Sweet Was the Song,” in Westchester and NYC. The program celebrates Yuletide with medieval, renaissance, and contemporary selections, including music from the Cistercian convent of Las Huelgas de Burgos in Spain, and the Benedictine convent of St. Mary-on-the-Hill in Chester, England. The group will also sing Francisco Guerrero’s “Gabriel Archangelus,” as well as contemporary works by Stephen Caracciolo, William Hawley, and Joan Szymko.
Suggested Donation: $20; $10 seniors & students. Tickets sold at the door.
