Students and alumni sing good-bye to choir director

May 31, 2012 by Richard Allen Roe Leave a Comment

By Christina Kristofic

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Central Bucks East High School students and alumni gathered at Central Bucks West High School on  Saturday night for a surprise musical tribute to long-time CB East choir director E. Scott Teschner.  Teschner has worked for Central Bucks for 35 years and spent the past 25 years at CB East.

“American Idol” alumnus and Broadway performer Justin Guarini was among the alumni who sang good-bye to Teschner. He said, “Scott played a significant role in my music education at Central Bucks East. His encouragement for me to follow my passion for music helped pave the way for my career and success in the music industry today.”
