Spain’s Cantoria Hipponnensis receives Prescott (Az) Master Chorale for its “Cantoria 2016” Concert on May 20th in Valencia.

Coming from the city of Prescott (Arizona), that sits high on the top of a beautiful mountain surrounded by stunning rock formations, tall pine trees, lakes and beautiful forests where it enjoys a rich heritage of excellence in choral music.
Formed over 20 years ago, the Chorale has toured many times to places such as Spain, Bavaria, France, Italy, Hawaii and Scandinavia. They are returning to Spain in May of 2016.

The Chorale is conducted by Dennis Houser ho is not a stranger in to the stage, be it here in the United States, Europe, South America or the Far East. He is currently also serving on the board of the Prescott Pops Orchestra and as Choirmaster of Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Prescott.
Cantoria 2016 will take place as in previous years in the Capilla Bizantina (Bizantine Chapel) of the Centro Culural La Beneficencia, Calle Corona 36, Valencia (Spain) and will promptly start at 7,30 pm of Friday May 20th,For their return to Spain, the Chorale will be presenting the works of Morten Lauridsen, including his Lux Aeterna, O Magnum Mysterium, Sure on This Shining Night and more. In addition, they will present works of American jazz, blues and spiritual music, sure to please any crowd.

Cantoria Hipponensis will offer a repertoire of differnt pieces from the music of the Renaissance of the XV and XVI centuries from France, Britain, Italy and Spain, accompanied by a chamber brass instruments ensamble.
