The Southern Arizona Women’s Chorus, under the direction of Terrie Ashbaugh, MM, is proud to share with our colleagues the celebration of our 25th anniversary season.
To commemorate this occasion, we have commissioned a new work by David Childs, with beautiful text by poet, philosopher, and theologist John O’Donahue (an excerpt from Beannacht). This work will be premiered in December, 2010.
In April, the chorus is performing at the first bi-annual Women’s Chorus Festival in Seattle with guest conductor Morna Edmundsen
The repertoire for the SAWC Silver! spring concerts (April 30 & May 2) will feature a selection of pieces from the chorus’ 25 years of performances.
