SONiC Festival Performance by The New York Virtuoso Singers Featured on WQXR Q2 Radio on October 19
The New York Virtuoso Singers recent U.S. Premiere performance of Yotam Haber’s I Am will be featured on WQXR Q2 radio on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 PM EST. Harold Rosenbaum, the Singer’s Conductor and Artistic Director, leads the group.

The recording is from the NYVS performance with the Jack String Quartet on October 16 at Columbia University’s Miller Theatre, part of the SONiC – Sounds of a New Century festival. SONiC, featuring 21st century music by more than 100 composers age 40 and under, will run through Saturday, October 22 throughout New York City. Visit them at http://sonicfestival.org/.
Founded in 1988 by conductor Harold Rosenbaum, The New York Virtuoso Singers has become the country’s leading exponent of contemporary choral music. Although the chorus performs music of all periods, its emphasis is on commissioning, performing and recording the music of American composers. The choir appears on 20 commercial CDs.
