Virtual Concert: Sing Out, My Soul!
Sunday, February 27 – 4 PM – Streaming from Grace Episcopal Church on Concord Pike, Wilmington
Hear music tells stories of Black history during Sing Out, My Soul, the Choir School’s annual Black History Month concert. Listen to the works of some of the greatest contemporary Black composers: Moses Hogan, Meka Ferdinand and Jason Max Ferdinand, B.E Boykin, Rollo Dilworth, Marques L.A. Garrett, Richard Smallwood, and more. Hear music representative of the African continent, unique works, along with traditional spirituals and gospel.
Sing Out, My Soul is sponsored by New Castle County, Delaware, under the direction of Matthew Meyer, and Bregetta A. Fields, the City of Wilmington’s Council Member for the 5th district.
Sing Out, My Soul is a free event. Registration required for both in-person and live-stream guests. Donations to the Choir School are welcome and appreciated.
