Seraphim [The Seraphim Singers] Open Rehearsal in Brookline, MA September 14th 2026

Seraphim [The Seraphim Singers] will host an open rehearsal for its 2026-27 season on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Episcopal Church of our Savior, 25 Monmouth St. Brookline, Massachusetts, 02446.

Founded in 1997 by music director Jennifer Lester, and now directed by Eric Christopher Perry in his first season as permanent music director, Seraphim has garnered critical acclaim for its advanced technique and superb sense of style in performing sacred masterworks composed over the centuries to the current day. The ensemble has created a niche among Boston’s performing elite through unique thematic programming that explores spiritual themes of divine transcendence, human longing, suffering, and protest. Our membership includes musicians from many walks of life, all with a passion for singing arresting repertoire.

Seraphim will perform four cycles in its 29th season, “Critical Mass,” which will highlight major works as Rachel Fuller’s Animal Requiem, Francis Poulenc’s Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël, Veljo Tormis’s Curse Upon Iron, and Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Mass in g minor. Solo opportunities in each concert for members.

Auditions are held via online application and can be found here. All voice parts welcome to apply (altos and tenors, especially).
