Scotland: Milngavie Choir now directed by Romanian Razvan Luculescu

September 20, 2011 by Allen H Simon Leave a Comment

MILNGAVIE Choir’s singers have started their new session after resting their vocal chords over the summer.

They are full of anticipation and excited about being under the baton of their new conductor, professional musician Razvan Luculescu.

Razvan (33) was born in Bucharest, where he studied piano and double bass at music high school and then specialised in orchestral and choral conducting at the National University of Music. After several years developing his conducting experience he moved to Scotland in 2010, and in addition to his new role in Milngavie, is currently accompanist at Strathaven Choral Society and organist and choir director at Busby Parish Church.
