A true visionary in the world of choral music has passed away. Dolf Rabus, founder and chief architect of the Marktoberdorf music festivals, for many years the leader of Europa Cantat, board member of IFCM, and supporter of ChoralNet has passed away. It is difficult to begin to explain to those who did not know him, how influential he was and how he was always at the forefront of ways to utilize new technologies. Most who did know him, loved him – a giant bear of a man with a quick smile and great presence. He will be sorely missed. To assist other to know the extent of his work, here are some links:
