Requesting Choral Directors to have your kids sing a climate anthem: I Wanna Be Cool

October 19, 2023 by PeteKronowitt Leave a Comment

The Be Cool! Campaign will recruit 100,000 young folks to sing on a chorus of a new climate song, “I Wanna Be Cool.”

With every youth we recruit, we will ask for a pledge for their family to take action with impact on the climate crisis.

Music Declares Emergency, together with The ClimateMusic Project, is taking ‘I Wanna Be Cool,’ a song written by award-winning songwriters, Will Kimbrough and Brant Miller, to use the beauty and power of music to inspire action.

We’re asking choral directors around the world to record their their singing groups on the chorus of ‘I Wanna Be Cool’.

An award-winning design studio and creative agency has committed to create the music video and prominent, grammy nominated guest vocalists are lending their voice on the song. “I Wanna Be Cool” will be released early next year.
