Arizona ACDA converted its annual summer conference to an online-only event, broadcast live on July 6-7, 2020. The conference is now available as a discounted “replay” event, which includes access to LOTS of very timely session topics, including DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), non-idiomatic Black music, community engagement, voice science, resonance, technology for remote teaching, virtual performances (not the same thing as virtual choirs), amplifying women’s contributions, and a session on “Copyright and Virtual Performance” by Roger Emerson. Our special guests Rollo Dilworth, Amanda Quist, and Ingo Titze each gave two presentations each, and there were also nine interactive repertoire reading sessions with online packets from JWPepper (and some cameo appearances from the composers).
The current fee for registration is $60 (20% off the original fee, ACDA membership is not required), and it includes unlimited access to all 25 conference sessions, handouts, and the reading-session packets — access to the packets expires on August 5th, so please register soon.
