Please consider starting a secular Peace Choir for your city. We did it in St. Louis. We’re hoping that other cities can create Peace Choirs too so that we can form a NETWORK and share free egalitarian choral songs with each other.
To help you get up-and-running, we welcome you to use any of our materials. It’s all free and in the public domain, so you can download whatever you want from the St. Louis Peace Choir website, including our SATB sound files so that singers can rehearse their harmony parts at home. Peace Choirs provide a safe space and an opportunity for ordinary people to develop a skill in choral singing – a skill that can’t be learned in books. So whether you turn out to be a big concert choir or, like us, just a little circle choir that never gives concerts, we want to share our journey with you.
