Pittsburgh Youth Chorus announces NEW Neighborhood Training Choirs

Pittsburgh Youth Chorus (formerly Children’s Festival Chorus) is beginning a new Neighborhood Training Choir program for children in second and third grades.  choirs will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, September 8th from 6-7:15 PM and will meet each week for two 12-week sessions.  Young singers will learn age appropriate vocal technique and music reading skills, as well as learn to sing with musicality, movement and expression.  Each session culminates in an “informance” for families and friends.  AUDITIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED.  Referrals from Pittsburgh music educators are greatly appreciated.  Contact PYC at 412-281-4790 for more information or  visit our website at www.pittsburghyouthchorus.org
