Paranjoti: Kyrie Eleison

May 23, 2011 by Nariman H. Wadia Leave a Comment

If you are looking for something REALLY stunning, try Victor Paranjoti’s Kyrie Eleison.
Strictly using the notes of the Purvikaliani Raga of the Carnatic (south Indian) style of music, but with 8 part harmony using only those notes, the harmony is among the most fascinating yet acceptable you are likely to hear.
The words, of course, are simple.
Try it. Available fromĀ http://www.earthsongschoralmusic.com/
