June 30, 2010 by Allen H Simon Leave a Comment

PLUtonic a capella choir from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, has hit the national stage as finalists in the You Tube competition put on by “America’s Got Talent.”

Of the thousands of video submissions, PLUtonic’s rendition of ‘N Sync’s “Here We Go” was selected as one of 40 finalists. Choir members were notified Monday morning.

The act among the 40 finalists that garners the most positive votes on You Tube will perform live on the show’s finale Aug. 11. Individuals can vote a maximum of once per video per day. (Voters can give a thumbs up to more than one act.) The finalists are to be judged on entertainment, creativity and ability.
