PA Premier of Lux Aeterna for Chorus and Chamber Orchestra by Grammy-Award winner Robert Shafer

April 15, 2011 by Jason Bizich Leave a Comment

The Saint George’s Chorale (a semi-professional chorus of 85 voices) and Orchestra performed Lux Aeterna by Robert Shafer.  The work is scored for large chorus, chamber orchestra, orgran, incidental soloists from the choir, and a dramatic soprano.  The piece is challenging, yet accessible.  I know that composer would like to hear from those interested in performing the work.
