NZ choir spreads cheer at snowed-in Heathrow

December 22, 2010 by Richard Allen Roe Leave a Comment

LONDON, HEATHROW, UK — Kiwi kids have spread a little
Christmas cheer to those stranded at Heathrow Airport in London.

Choralation, the combined choir of Westlake Girls’ and Boys’
High Schools in Auckland have been touring Europe for three
weeks.

Brian Wilson’s daughter is on the trip, and he told Newstalk ZB
the students had to wait outside the terminal at Heathrow for three
hours, in sub-zero temperatures, so “they thought they would sing
Christmas carols to cheer up all the angry and frustrated
travellers that were out there”.
